Milwaukee Moments Photo Contest

1. Pull out the shoe box or dust off the photo album and spend a few moments reviewing the fun times and memorable moments you've had with your family and friends in the City of Milwaukee.
2. Scan and upload a photo that you feel captures a memorable moment in Milwaukee’s history. It could be your kids enjoying the Great Circus Parade or a photo of you cheering on the 1977 Warriors from your college days. It could be a photo of just the event itself, such as Liberace performing at the Pabst. Also give us a short description of the photo, including date taken and the memory that corresponds with it.
3. Invite your friends and family to view your photo at www.milwaukeemoments.com and vote for your snapshot.
4. The top ten photos will be published on Press Club's website, and in its Once a Year Magazine, as well as in other newspapers, and will be displayed at the annual City Birthday Party.

Public Viewing & Granting of Limited Rights

• If approved for publication, your photo will be displayed to the public.
• Your photo will be listed on the Milwaukee Press Club's contest site and possibly at the City Birthday Party event.
• By uploading your image, you are allowing the Milwaukee Press Club to publish the photo.

Voting

• Once posted, the image of a Milwaukee Moment will be open for the public to view and vote on.
• The winning photo will be based on the overall highest percentage of votes and announced at the City Birthday Party on January 29th.
• Return to this site on January 18th to vote for your favorite of the top 10 photos as determined by a judging committee. Your votes will determine the top two finalists.
• All photographers in the top 10 will be invited to attend the City Birthday Party, as our guests.

Copyright

• All images must be originals and must belong to the person uploading; all rights in the photo must be the property of the person uploading the photo.
• Once uploaded, the Milwaukee Press Club retains the rights to post any photos submitted on the Milwaukee Moments web page.
• The Milwaukee Press Club is not responsible for images submitted by someone other than the rightful owner.

Model Release

• Uploader acknowledges that they have sufficient written permission of any recognizable models or other persons appearing in the photograph to be able to grant The Milwaukee Press Club the right to publish their photographic submission online, and hereby grants the Milwaukee Press Club such right

Additional Contest Rules

In addition to the terms and conditions above, contest entries must abide by the following rules.

• All entries must be received at the Milwaukee Moments Web site by the date and time as stated at http://www.milwaukeepressclub.com.
• Entries must be submitted in digital form via the Web site; you can submit images taken with a digital camera or images taken with a film-based camera and scanned into a digital format.
• A description of each photo's date and corresponding Milwaukee Moment should be submitted online with the photo.
• Mailed entries are not accepted and Milwaukee Press Club will not be held responsible for mailed slides, negatives, or prints.
• Participants may enter as many pictures as they wish during the duration of the contest.
• No purchase is required to enter the Memorable Moments Photo Contest and there is no entry fee.

Disqualification

Any user who violates any of the fore mentioned rules and regulations automatically disqualifies themselves entirely from the contest.
